The Northen Ontario Warmth Program (NOW) is designed to help income-qualified Ontario residents get the most out of their homes—at no cost.
If you live in Ontario and are responsible for paying electricity bills as a homeowner or as a renter, you may be eligible to receive energy-saving upgrades tailored to the specific needs of your home, all at no cost.
NOW has 2 sub-programs, depending on your home’s needs.

Energy Affordability Program (EAP) by Save on Energy
Access energy-saving alternatives, such as LED lightbulbs, efficient power bars, replacements for appliances 10 years or older, heat pumps, and more.
Home Winterproofing (HWP) by Enbridge
Get support with more extensive retrofitting projects, like replacing wall and attic insulation, and air sealing.

Give us a call at 705-674-1685 . We’ll discuss the eligibility requirements with you and if you qualify, we’ll work together to determine the best available energy-saving measures for your household.
Depending on your eligibility, you may receive either an Energy Saving Kit with energy-saving measures for self-installation, or an energy expert may visit your home to see what energy-efficiency upgrades will help you most. These upgrades may be installed during or after an in-home visit.
